20 Nigerians on death row in Saudi Arabia

Abike Dabiri

Senior Special Assistant to the President on Diaspora Matters , Abike Dabiri Tuesday said
That 20 Nigerians have been sentenced to death in Saudi Arabia.
Briefing State House correspondents at the Presidential villa, the Presidential aide also described as embarrassing the action of five Nigerians that were caught raiding Bureaux De Change in United Arab Emirates, UAE.
She said that the Federal Government has engaged the Saudi government to ensure that innocent persons did not suffer in the drug trafficking trial.
Dabiri-Erewa also told Nigerians outside the country to always respect the laws of the country hosting them so as not to bring down the image of Nigeria.
She advised travellers especially those boarding Egypt and Ethiopian airlines to always be watchful with their luggage, noting that some airline operators in some cases conspire with drug barons to insert drugs in their bags without the travelers knowledge.
