Non-Governmental Organization, Rhealyz Naija has hailed the support
effort of the Federal Government and The international based GIZ for
sponsoring some Nigerian Youths in Agricultural training outside
Nigeria.
According
to the convener of the youth based NGO, Ireti Adesida, “the
innovation is a sign that we are truly ready to develop other sector
of the Nigerian economy. Agriculture is the new economical revolution
and I am happy that our government is trying to sow the seed of its
belief in to the lives of the youth.”
Federal
Government and GIZ selected the participants from the N-Power Agro
Youth Volunteer Class 2016. The selection of the winners was done
through a competition organized by the GIZ (Green Innovation Centre)
for sixty candidates that participated in the qualifying examination
called N-Power Youth Essay Writing Competition. it was organised to
select young rural entrepreneurs, based on the skills they had
acquired during their N-Power trainings.
One
of the winners, Miss Taiwo Oluwaseun Disu, alongside two others would
be representIng Nigeria, in Feldafing, Germany, at the exposure
seminar on Business Development Services in the agricultural sector.
Mr
Ireti however also asked the government at all levels not to relent
in organizing such even to develop the resource ability of the youth
towards realizing a future with a remarkable difference from the
past.
“We
at Rhealyz Naija have always been at the forefront of organizing
programs towards “developing youths that are economically self
reliant. Any nation with youthful liability can not viably outgrow
its problem. Three out of the entire population of those in need of
such training is far from it. I think whether locally or otherwise,
it is time to develop the future of Nigeria, by developing our
youth.”
He
also charged the participant to return to Nigeria with the mindset to
come and impact what they have learnt on their fellow youths.
