Four Badoo members get justice, burnt alive in Ikorodu

Reprieve Sunday came to Odogunyan, Ikorodu, Lagos, residents four suspected members of the dreaded cultists\ritualists group known as Badoo were given a dose of their own medicine by angry mob and residents of the area.
Two days earlier, a suspected member of the group was burnt alive by a mob at Igbo-Oluwo after a foiled attempt to break into an apartment at Jumofak area of Ikorodu.
Badoo, the cultist group has been terrorising Ikorodu since May 2016 killing and maiming residents in places like Ibeshe, Maya, Ogijo, Erunwen, Itamaga with the most recent one in Odogunyan.
The first three suspects were burnt to death at the popular Odogunyan bus-stop while the fourth one was burnt to death at Idera.

Some Odogunyan residents, it was gathered had formed voluntary vigilance groups since last Wednesday, following the gruesome murder of a family of five at Aliyu Adesanya street, Olopomeji bus-stop but at about 2am of Sunday.
Residents were conducting a stop and check operation when they flagged down a Sports Utility Vehicle with seven occupants on board, at Oduyebo street and all effort to get the identity of the occupants proved abortive.
During the exercise, items like mortars, grinding stones, kegs of engine oil, cutlasses and charms were found in the vehicle and none of the occupants could explain the motive behind their journey.
The suspects were beaten up and wounded by residents and in the process, four of them were able to escape alive. The angry residents took the remaining to the Baale of Oju-Emuren’s residence Chief Kamorudeen Bakare who appealed that they should be handed over to the Police but a mammoth crowd which had gathered was bent on carrying out jungle justice.
They dragged the suspects to Odogunyan where they were burnt alive. 
The mob then returned to Oduyebo street and set the vehicle ablaze.
The residents were still celebrating the victory when one of the escapees was sighted at about 1pm, at Idera with engine oil rubbed all over him. Some youths were said to have launched a chase after him and on apprehension, burnt him alive.

The police from Sagamu Road Division and Rofo were handicapped and could not near the mob.
